Loosen the bolts on the door frame just enough to allow the door frame or adjustment plate to move.
To adjust the position of the door frame in the car, you need to put an assistant.
Close the door.
From the inside, an assistant should press the door frame against the roof and the A-pillar.
From the outside, check the position of the door frame 1 (pic. 12.35) in the door frame. Seal face 2 (pic. 12.35) must be contoured to the A-pillar and roof frame (arrow fig. 12.35).
From the inside, the assistant presses the door frame towards the middle of the car. In this case, the pressure on the door frame should be slightly greater in order to compensate for the elastic force of the rubber seal.
Slide adjusting plate 7 (pic. 12.29) with respect to the middle column.
Close the door carefully and tighten the bolts in the following sequence: 3, 9, 6, 4 (pic. 12.29).
If the adjustment area of the plate is insufficient, a thicker washer must be placed under it. Never use two plates in one place.
