Engine mounts (Audi A6 C4)

Examination

1. Raise and secure the front of the vehicle.

2. Inspect rubber mounts for wear and damage and replace if necessary.

3. Check that the support bolts are firmly tightened.

4. Check if the bearings themselves are worn out.

Replacement

1. Raise and secure the front of the vehicle.

2. Mount the engine on a lift.

3. Unscrew the nuts of the supports and remove the supports.

4. Install new supports.
