1. Place a container to collect the fluid under the automatic transmission, then unscrew the filler tube retaining nut, disconnect the tube and drain the fluid.

2. Reinstall the tube and tighten the retaining nut to the correct torque.

3. Fill the gearbox with 3 liters of the correct type of fluid. Drive the car and check the fluid level.

• 1. Inspection hole plug
• 2. Bypass tube
• 3. Plug and cap
• 4. Cap B must be replaced after removal
• A - cap on early models
• B - cap on later models

Order of execution

1. Place a container to collect the fluid under the automatic transmission, unscrew the inspection hole plug and disconnect the bypass tube.

2. Drain the fluid and replace the plug and tube.

3. Top up with automatic transmission fluid until it starts to flow out of the bypass tube.
