Halogen headlights
1. Fine adjustment of the headlights is possible only with special optical equipment and therefore must be carried out at a dealer car service.
2. The headlights are adjustable with screws that can be accessed from the top of the headlight (see fig. paragraph 9 of chapter 12).
3. Some models are equipped with an electric headlight range control system which is operated by a switch on the front panel. Before making adjustments, for non-similar models, the switch must first be set to zero.
Xenon (gas-discharge) lights
4. The direction of the headlight beam is corrected automatically by an electronic device that receives signals from sensors installed in the front and rear suspensions. Light adjustment can only be done with the help of specialized equipment from the VAG concern.
