Hood lock mechanism (Audi 100 C3)

The hood lock lever is located on the left under the instrument panel (see photo). The lever opens the hood lock if you pull it towards you. In this case, the hood cover rises under the action of a spring.



To fully open the hood, push the lever to the right (see photo). In the open position, the hood is held by a spring.



To close the hood cover, lower it down and push until it clicks. Do not operate the vehicle with the hood open.
